What is Wireless Charging ?
Wireless charging uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy to the phone or any device through electromagnetic induction, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device.
How Wireless Charging Works ?
Wireless chargers use an induction coil to create an electromagnetic field from a charging base, and a second induction coil of the phone or device takes power from the electromagnetic field and converts it back into electric current to charge the battery.
1. Main voltage is converted into high frequency alternating current (AC)
2. The alternating current is sent to the transmitter coil by transmitter circuit.
3. Alternative current flowing within the transmitter coil creates a magnetic field with extends to the receiver coil when within a specified distance.
4. The magnetic field generates current within the receiver coil of the device.
5. Current flowing within the receiver coil is converted into Direct Current (DC) by the receiver circuit
Thus charging of the battery of the device is happening.
Structure of a Wireless Charger
Wireless Charging chip- Base part of the charger ,From where alternative current enter to the charger.
Transmitter Coil- Where AC current flowing and create a magnetic field.
Receiver Coil- Where magnetic field is received and converted into direct current.
Soft Silicon- Upper part of the charger , it is used to flowing the current to device.
Advantage of Wireless Charging
Convenience: The number one benefit of having wireless charging is that you will never have to deal with Charging cable again.
Integration: One of the best advantages of certain wireless chargers is that it can integrate with almost all cell phones, no matter the shape or size of its charging socket.
Multiple Device Charging: Today, we may have several smartphones in the same room. when it comes to Apple and Android phones. Having a wireless charging pad can allow you to charge different smartphones simultaneously.
Disadvantage of Wireless Charging
Performance: There are certain wireless chargers which simply cannot reach the same efficiency level as compared to traditional ones, which can make the charging process slower.
Mobility: It is the signals transmitted between your mobile phones and the charger which are wireless, but you still need to plug the charging station to a wall.Additionally, you must keep the device on the pad at all times and it cannot be moved.
Compatibility: Although the same charging stations can be used for different device, There are multiple cases where people have reported to have faced problems with regards to charging varied devices.
Do you choose Wireless Charging ?
Though there are many Backdrops , basically main disadvantage is Slow charging compared to Wall charger. You can choose Wireless Charging for hassle free charging without connect cable to your phone.
Although Wireless Charging have a great future, but still maximum customer doesn't own it.
It is very simple technology but also need improvement,
Many company are trying to overcome those backdrops of the wireless charging and make them available for all.
