So this is the "ONE STOP SOLUTION" that I got from MI customer care (18001036286) when I called this morning. So this gal answers the call with greetings and all; then asks for my query. I tell her regrettably that I purchased Redmi Note7 Pro this May and was getting great battery life but suddenly after these recent 2 monthly OTA updates battery started draining much quickly while using and as I am a moderate to heavy user, I have noticed that it specially drains while using than keeping it idle.
She asked for my name and mobile no.and comforted me by saying that she has raised and highlighted this issue with the technical team so the bugs get fixed in September's update and also suggested me to visit service centre with invoice if battery drain issue persists even after new OTA update as they will replace the battery with a new one.
My SOLUTIONS to You
1. Call MI Customer care no.(18001036286) and after selecting language from IVR menu press 4 when asked, then 3 and there you'll be asked if You want to talk to the team, then press 9 and just say you have battery drain issue in Note 7 Pro. Fill the customer care with BATTERY DRAIN complaint so we get fixed in September's update else;
2. Go to your nearest service centre with invoice and replace your battery with a new one even after the September's OTA update.
