How to stop and start receiving

If you dislike the appearance of promoted app suggestions on miui, there is an easy way to stop it.

Step 1: Tap on the folder name >> it will show a toggle to switch on or off app suggestions

Step 2: turn off if you don't want to get any app suggestions.

Yes, thank you so much for taking out some time to explain this to us. I did not know how to do it so the only solution I had was to delete the folder and make a new one where I didn't enable it. Wish more people were like you :)

hi ..there are some folders in the phone which will prompt you to download certain apps. for eg. in my phone if I open "social" folder it will suggest related apps like Skype, Twitter etc...Some may like and some prefer not be annoyed with such prompts. So I have explained the solution to turn off such suggestions.
