Last year, Xiaomi launched the China-exclusive Mi 5X in the foreign markets as Mi A1. It is also the first Xiaomi smartphone to come with stock Android OS. While all the other Xiaomi devices come with MIUI, the Mi A1 was launched as Android One device. Last month, the company launched the Mi 6X as the successor to Mi 5X in China. We are also seeing rumors and leaks about the Mi A2 smartphone.

According to the source , the company is said to have denied the existence of the Mi A2 smartphone. However, the company has promised to bring even more Android One smartphones in the future. As of now, there is information regarding the timeframe for the launch of new Android One smartphones from Xiaomi. Next month, the company is expected to launch the Redmi S2 as Redmi Y2 in India.

The Mi A1 was launched in India along with several other markets across Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Middle East. While the other Android One devices already received the Android 8.1 Oreo update, the Mi A1 is still running on Android 8.0 Oreo. The new Mi 6X came with a 5.99-inch Full HD  display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor coupled with Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU.

There is no 3.5mm audio jack on this smartphone. In terms of optics, the Mi 6X came with 20MP   12MP dual rear cameras and a single 20MP selfie camera on the front. Both the cameras come accompanied by a LED flash. It is backed by a 3,010mAh non-removable battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo based MIUI 9.5 out of the box.
