There's something inherently attractive about being able to view objects with depth and with The Looking Glass, you’ll be able to do just that. So let's know more!

Offered in two sizes (8.9 inches and 15.6 inches), it creates 45 simultaneous views of a three-dimensional scene.

It allows multiple people to view different parts of a scene at the same time.

Inroduction:-
The Looking Glass is the first desktop holographic display designed for 3D creators. Now for the first time, groups of people can see and interact with a virtual 3-D world on their desk, unaided by VR or AR headsets. The Looking Glass uses similar technology as the HoloPlayer One. It creates 45 distinct views of the 3-D model and uses a lenticular lens to display those views from different angles to create the holographic effect that lets you see different parts of the object depending on where you're looking at it.

How it Works?

The Looking Glass is made up of a combination of light-field and volumetric display technology. The light-field display recreates the rays of light that bounce off the 3D content, which helps youvisualize it, and the volumetric display helps create these animated objects in three dimensions. With these holographic objects, we will see more data that our brains will prefer over standard 2D screens.

3D model and animations in OBJ, FBX, STL and gLTF format can be imported into the Looking Glass with a couple clicks using the Model and Animation Importer App.
Dozens of holographic apps are available for free download using the App Library.

Summary:-
The Looking Glass won the AWEsome Award at the Augmented World Expo 2018 this past June. Limiting element of this device is that it still needs a host computer to run. Looking Glass recommends an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card at minimum (plus an HDMI port for display data and a USB-C port for power).
