So in this thread, we will talk about
IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU
What is PowerVR?
PowerVR is a division of Imagination Technologies (formerly VideoLogic) that develops hardware and software for 2D and 3D rendering, and for video encoding, decoding, associated image processing and DirectX, OpenGL ES, OpenVG, and OpenCL acceleration.
The PowerVR GE8320 by Imagination Technologies is an integrated graphics card for entry level ARM SoCs. Variant of the Series8XE Plus series of GPUs. IMG PowerVR GE8300 is a mobile graphics card for mid-range smartphones. It is included in the MediaTek Helio P22 SoCs.
PowerVR Series8XE Plus GPUs build on the highly successful 8XE family offering, with higher graphics and industry leading performance/mm2. These GPUs have increased FLOPS (floating-point operations per second) to provide a step up to mid-range devices targeting 1080p displays.. The initial Series8XE Plus GPUs each deliver up to four pixels per clock and incorporate advanced features such as hardware virtualization, OmniShield multi-domain security, and support for the latest APIs including OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 1.2, Vulkan 1.0 and OpenVX 1.1.
The GPU supports modern standards APIs like Vulkan 1.0 , OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 1.2 and Open VX 1.1. Imagination is the only GPU vendor currently in the market to offer Open VX 1.1 support
That's All, Thanks!!
