Wassup Guys? This is Furqaan back with another interesting topic in Tech With Furqaan Series. Well, the last episode was about WiFi Repeaters in which I got so much of amazing responses from you all. I see people out there are loving Tech With Furqaan isn't it?
Anyway, today's topic is Bluetooth Headset. We will be discussing the tech used in Bluetooth Headsets. So, without wasting much time let's get started.
Bluetooth Headset? Almost everyone here knows what's a Bluetooth Headset is! A device which connects to your smartphone wirelessly which you can use while calling and so on! But do you know how it works? No? No worries, I am here to explain each and every detail about it!!
What's actually a Bluetooth Headset?
A headset combines a headphone with a microphone. Headsets are made with either a single-earpiece (mono) or a double-earpiece (mono to both ears or stereo). Headsets provide the equivalent functionality of a telephone handset but with hands-free operation.
Let me explain you in more simpler language. A Bluetooth is a device which connects to your phone via Bluetooth and can be used as a speaker and microphone both. You don't have to take out your phone from your pocket to receive a call. You can do it from this tiny device!
How does it work?
A Bluetooth Headset emits low power radio transmission signals from it. These signals can travel up to around 10 meters or may be more depending upon the type of Device. Bluetooth Headset does not require line-of-sight positioning between devices in order to communicate. Bluetooth Headsets use Ultra High-Frequency band wherein signals travel free from interferences of low-frequency signals transmitted by radio, TV, etc. Using Bluetooth technology, a device can connect simultaneously with up to 8 devices within 10 meters or more range. To avoid interferences, this technology uses spread-spectrum frequency hopping technique. Bluetooth system creates a Personal Area Network (PAN).
So when Bluetooth-enabled products, such as a cell phone and headphones, are in close proximity to each other, they connect or pair with each other. Also, a single Bluetooth headset can even connect to multiple devices at the same time. This enables you to talk on the phone or listen to music without the bother of wires or cords.
