Hello, Mi Fans!
We just dropped an Android Oreo update for Mi A1 a few days back. While looking for the feedback we stumbled upon questions where our users are asking that headset icon isn’t showing even after plugging in the compatible headset in 3.5 mm headset jack, although music through headset works just fine and also the actions attached with button are working.
By default, in Android Oreo, headset icon is hidden in the status bar, if you want it to show up in the status bar then follow the below simple steps:

That’s it, now it should show the headset icon when a compatible headset is connected.

System UI tuner is a hidden menu in Android and is for advanced users, please be cautious while changing the options inside.
