[Updated on 23rd Nov, 2018] How to Disable Ads in MIUI

Hello Mi Fans!
I'm here with a new #TutorialForYou. Hope you all enjoyed my previous threads. We have observed that many of the users has an enquiry about the Ads disability in MIUI device. As MIUI is always user friendly which has a smart solution to every problem. In this tutorial I will show you step by step, how to disable ads from System, Mi Music, Mi Security, Cleaner, Mi Browser, Mi File Explorer, Downloader and many other apps which is available in our MIUI.

Now don’t waste your time and let's start it without getting late!

Disable Ad Service

Disable MSA (MIUI System Ads) ✒ To disable msa from Authorization & revocation: Open "MIUI Settings" Go to "Additional settings" Go to "Authorization & revocation" Now scroll down and disable "msa" Tap Revoke in the pop-up You will see an error that reads “Couldn’t revoke authorization” when you do this for the first time. Try step 4 and 5 until you’ll see a message saying that it’s been revoked.

Disable Ads From App Lock ✒ To disable ads from app lock: Open "MIUI Settings" Go to "App lock" Tap on the "Settings" icon as shown in the screenshot Receive recommendations - Turn it OFF!

Disable Ads From Your "Mi File Manager" and "Security" App ✒ To disable ads from Mi File Explorer App: Open "Mi File Explorer" Tap on 3 Dash Symbol at the top corner of the Mi File Explorer Go to "Settings" Recommendations - Turn it OFF! Note: For Mi File Explorer Recommendation feature is applicable in v1-180116 version. If you haven't updated yet update soon to receive this feature. ✒ To disable advertising identifier: Go to "Settings" Go to "Additional settings" Go to "Privacy" Go to "Ad services" Use advertising identifier - Turn it OFF! ✒ To disable ads from your MIUI Security App: Open "Security" Go to "Security settings" Receive recommendations - Turn it OFF!

Disable Ads From Your "Cleaner", "Mi Browser" and "Downloads" App ✒ To disable ads from Cleaner: Open "Security" Go to "Security settings" Tap on "Cleaner" Receive recommendations - Turn it OFF! ✒ To disable ads from Mi Browser: Open "Mi Browser" Go to Mi Browser's "Settings" Then go to "Advanced" Tap on "Card Setting" Recommend for you - Turn it OFF! ✒ To disable ads from Downloads App: Open "Downloads" Tap on the 3 dots at the right hand top corner of this Downloader Go to "Setting" Show recommended content - Turn it OFF!

Disable Ads From Your "Mi Music", "MIUI Themes" App and APK Installer/Security Scanning Screen ✒ To disable ads from Mi Music: Open "Mi Music" Go to Mi Music's "Settings" Then go to "Advanced settings" Recommendations - Turn it OFF! ✒ To disable ads from MIUI Themes: Open "MIUI Themes" app Go to "Profile" Then go to "Settings" Show advertisements - Turn it OFF! NB: This feature is only available from the MIUI version of 8.7.26 (Beta) ✒ To disable ads from APK Installer/Security Scanning Screen: Try to install any apk file After successful installation you will see a security scanning screen, from here tap on the "settings" icon as shown in the screenshot Receive recommendations - Turn it OFF!

Disable ads from Installed Apps ✒ To disable ads from Installed Apps: Open "Security" app Go to "Manage apps" Tap on 3 dots located in the top right corner of your mobile screen Go to "Settings" Recommendations - Turn it OFF!

Disable ads from Boost speed ✒ To disable ads from Boost speed: Open "Security" app Tap on "Boost speed" Tap on settings button - (After the scan results) Go to "Settings" Recommendations - Turn it OFF!
