Speaking about performance Redmi Note 5 is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 that has proven to be the most power-efficient Soc without reducing performance when used heavy work such as gaming to multitasking. Thanks to Octa-core processor 2.0 GHz Cortex A-53 and GPU Adreno 506 playing heavy games that is almost 2GB in size is still working smoothly, even while chatting all at once. In addition, it is equipped with 801.11 b/g/n WiFi with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. Then for connectivity, there is dual-SIM Hybrid type, 4G LTE network, then there is also a WiFi connection, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Infrared.
Graphics side of Adreno 506 GPU is powerful enough to handle multitasking work and run a variety of heavy games. Performance is also supported again by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is also provided in a rather cheap version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. Unfortunately for the placement of microSD slot, this phone uses Hybrid slot, so have to sacrifice SIM 2 slot for expanding up to 128GB. As we’re already quite familiar with the capabilities of the SD 625 so let's move to next topic.
Now we can continue to the camera, As for the main camera Redmi Note 5 is equipped with 12MP resolution camera equipped with f / 2.2 aperture and sensor size of 1.25 μm, along with PDAF technology followed by low light enhancement, HDR, Panorama, Burst mode, Face recognition, Real-time filters. Photos taken with good lighting were pretty good, exhibiting good color reproduction and detail. Both the front camera and rear camera are equally equipped LED Flash. It is capable of capturing good images even in low light conditions.

The device got a score of 76879 which is really good. The Snapdragon 625 along with MIUI 9 optimizations does a pretty decent job in the performance side.
