Hello MI Fans,
Diwali is just around the corner & I hope everyone is celebrating "Diwali With MI" with all that awesome offers Mi India offered.
Meanwhile MIUI 8 - 6.10.13 got released - Here , If you haven't updated yet do it right now. Starting with V6.10.13 everyone's favourite feature returned in a brand new avatar.
Yes we are talking about Battery Profiles now aka "Automated Tasks".
So what's new with it?
Well, It is more powerful & more organized than ever before, now empowering you to customize every detail & action of what will happen via your personally defined conditions & that is why now it's being called - "Automated Tasks".
Customized Tasks At Your Customized Ease!
Note: This feature is currently available on Developer ROM only, not on Stable
"Automated Tasks" is located under security App. Go to security app, Under Tools - Automated Tasks

In simple words, what it does is it performs tasks designed by user at certain matching conditions which are also selected by user only.
Upon opening you will find two tasks already there by default, which you can delete or customize further.
Or you can create one of yours, we will start by creating one from scratch to cover up whole process
1. Open Automated Tasks option, Press + button located on right down side

2. You will have the blank page like below, it will basically have three options for you to fill

3. Fill up the details
- Give your task a suitable name you can relate to based on actions
- Clicking on Add Condition will present you screen below which will have three categorized conditions to choose from:
you can select one from it as a condition to activate later defined actions via "add actions" & press "OK" on top right.
Select percenrage based on your need to activate tasks when battery reaches at your defined percentage.

Clicking on add action will open a below page with different actions, precisely 11 actions that you can customize according to your needs.

Every action will have action under it which you can get upon clicking over it, shown below:

Select as many actions as you want with customized behavior
4. Activate It
Click "ok" on top right to activate it, now it's saved & activated.

- You can activate/deactivate it upon your need.
- You can customize it further too via clicking over, delete when not needed via long pressing or simply disable it via small button on right.
- You can mix n match different actions on different conditions
