Hello Mi Fans!
As virtual reality grows in popularity, an increasing number of consumer-grade 360° cameras are hitting the market. Latest among them is Luna, a spherical camera that records 360° footage for viewing on desktop or through a cardboard VR headset.

Capture everything around you in one shot with Luna, the world’s smallest 360° camera. Designed to be easily used by everyone, this camera is operated with a single button. Luna features a pair of 190° fisheye lenses, and uses 'artificially intelligent auto-stitching software' to merge the captured 2K footage into a single 360° HD video. Finalized videos can be shared on social networks or YouTube, and can be viewed using the Luna app and a VR headset. A sample video reel shows relatively low image quality from the camera's video mode, but it's unclear whether this is representative of a final production version of the camera.

Features of Luna:
Check out Luna in action!
Adding to the functionality of its duelling 190-degree lenses instantly auto-stitching together to create totally immersed stills and video, Luna is waterproof and incorporates gyro stabilization, freeing you to shoot everything, anywhere and anytime. Wi-Fi lets you both preview pictures on your phone and lets others live stream those images, with the ability to independently pan at will. It's pretty much the next best thing to actually being there. There's a 9-axial gyroscope on board to prevent footage from becoming a stuttering mess and it's even IP68 certified waterproof, so you can chuck it in the water to film. Built-in Wi-Fi means you can quickly share footage or live stream video, while 32GB of internal storage means there's a decent amount of room for your pictures and video.

Other features include a 5-megapixel camera for stills, a microphone to pick up the sound and it has a magnetic base to hook it up to a host of accessories. The rechargeable battery should get you around 40 minutes of footage before you need to reach for the charger as well. There's a Luna companion app that'll let you live preview video from your smartphone and it also includes a VR mode so you can use it with Google Cardboard. The Luna is made of aluminum and scratch-proof glass, and is only six centimeters in diameter, weighing around 180 grams. The battery will keep it going for up to 30 minutes, and it has a built-in microphone and 32GB of storage. It will have a magnetic connector that allows it to stick to metal surfaces, altough of course it will also be able to go on a monopod.
