Hello Mi Fans,
Over the past few years, electric motors have become smaller and more powerful, while batteries have become more power dense and accessible — two trends that have coalesced and kicked off a renaissance in personal transportation devices. The Inboard M1 brings a new take to the category, with hubless motors that are planted into the rear wheels of the board.

The Inboard M1 is made with the use of patented Manta Drive®, in-wheel direct drive, motor assembly. Inboard seeks to create lightweight transportation technology that flows. From its streamlined look to its feel underfoot, every detail of the board is based on the idea of uninhibited flow. From the outside, the board is nearly indistinguishable from a traditional skateboard. You don’t see the motors or batteries because everything is inside the deck and wheels.

The RFLX Remote is ergonomically designed with this in mind to let the rider focus on the most important thing, their riding. With the RFLX Remote, you can open and close your hand at will, without the remote ever moving from its natural position in your hand. Intuitive control over acceleration and braking without the worry of dropping the remote.

Inboard claims that every detail of the M1 is based on the idea of uninhibited flow. This essentially translates to a fluid and responsive ride, one that utilizes two hub motors in the rear wheels instead of your stereotypical gear system or belt-drive. Because of this, you can utilize the M1 like a traditional skateboard without ever having to turn on the motor.
