Hello Mi Fans!
In today's generation we see many people using their smartphones most of the time for clicking pictures but there are also such people who prefer cameras instead of smartphones for clicking pictures and for those people Sony announced their Cyber-shot series, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX99 and Cyber-shot DSC-HX99, both of these cameras packs 30x optical zoom as well as both of them brings up some internal tweaks and features.
The Sony HX99 and HX95 are claimed to be the world's smallest travel high zoom cameras with 4k recording capabilities. Both of the cameras offers a zoom range of from 24mm at the wide end up to super-telephoto with the help of the Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T High Magnification Zoom lens. Not only this, both of the cameras also supports image stabilization and is also equipped with Zoom Assist function which allows you to zoom temporarily and display a wider area while shooting.
Sony HX99 and HX95 Cameras
The new pair of compact promising big quality in tiny bodies and it keeps the ability to shoot in Raw. The Sony took the Wraps off with the announcement of their new pair of cameras billed as the 'world's smallest travel high zoom cameras'. Sony's HX95 and HX99 are two compact designed to be easy to carry everywhere without compromising on Image quality, both sports a 30x zoom lens as well as the capacity to capture 4K video and burst shoot at up to 10fps.
The Sony HX95 and HX99 are mostly identical cameras with a few specific differences. At their cores both cameras are basically the same type, both come with 18.2MP 1/2.3 type Exmor R CMOS sensor that’s paired with a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-720mm lens. The generous zoom is aided by the optical steady shot stabilization which Sony says should virtually eliminate the most form of camera-shake as well as Zoom Assist mode, which helps with shooting at ultra-telephoto focal lengths.

The cameras both are powered with Sony's upgraded Bionz X processor, which enables many of the kind of advanced features which you'd expect on more pro-oriented cameras. The new models are both able to shoot at burst speeds of up 10fps, with a generous buffer of up to 155 images. The pair is fast in other respects too, with autofocus acquisition speed of as little as 0.9 seconds. Both the cameras also consist of the Sony's Eye AF technology which specifically searches for eye and locks focus on them.
The Odd decision which Sony made on their previous travel zooms in the series the HX90 and HX9V, they omitted the RAW-format recording but this has happily been corrected because both the HX95 and HX99 can shoot RAW. Both of these cameras can also shoot 4K videos with full pixel readout and no pixel Binning. Full HD video can also be shot at up to 100fps, allowing for creative super-slow-mo work. The cameras carry a maximum expandable ISO setting of 6400.
The pair also sports an LCD screen that can flip 180°
At 58.1mm by 102mm by 35.5mm, these are according to Sony also the smallest cameras of their class (i.e. compact cameras with built-in viewfinders and zoom of more than 700mm equivalent). The Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX99 offers an option called 'Control Ring To Customise Functions' such as manual focus or step zooming. The Cyber-shot DSC-HX99 and Cyber-shot DSC-HX95 also offers 'My Menu Personalisation' for the recall of up to 30 items and the ability to create custom menus.
It also supports Bluetooth which allows you to transfers to smartphones or uploading to websites for quick sharing. The Bluetooth connectivity is compatible with Android devices supporting Bluetooth v4.0 and running Android 5.0 or later. It also works with iPhone 4S or later, and the iPad 3rd generation or later. It can also shoot fast-moving subjects with high-frame rate HD recording at up to 100fps to produce slow-motion sequence during editing.
