On 22nd November, Xiaomi has launched a Quad Camera phone - Redmi Note 6 Pro. A powerhouse of performance, display, design, user interface, it captures our attention and feels premium.
Redmi Note 6 Pro is a successor of Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Redmi Note 6 Pro tries to the keep the features which made its predecessor a success while including some much need upgrades. Today, Lets, compare India's New Redmi Note 6 Pro with Redmi Note 5 Pro and see what has changed.
The setup of the rear camera in Redmi Note 6 Pro and Redmi Note 5 Pro is same, but Redmi Note 6 Pro has some upgrades. As we know that Redmi Note 5 Pro is equipped with 12 MP (f/2.2) Primary Camera and 5 MP (f/2.0) Secondary Camera which has 1.25μm and 1.12μm pixels respectively. But Redmi Note 6 Pro is equipped with 12 MP (f/1.9) Primary Camera and 5 MP (f/2.2) Secondary Camera which has 1.4μm and 1.12μm pixels respectively. It is clear that the pixel area of Redmi Note 6 Pro has a larger pixel area as compared to Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro is equipped with 20 MP (f/2.2) Front Camera which has 1.0μm pixels and it also has Selfie-light. But Redmi Note 6 Pro is equipped with 20 MP (f/2.0) Primary Camera and 2 MP (f/2.2) Secondary camera which has 0.9μm and 1.75μm pixels respectively. As you can see that Redmi Note 6 Pro has Dual Front Camera which can capture an awesome Selfie Portrait.
In the camera department, Redmi Note 6 Pro seems to be a clear winner with bigger pixels and better camera lens and Dual Front Camera to capture Awesome Selfie Portrait.

Redmi Note 5 Pro has 5.99" 16:9 FHD+ display (2160 x 1080). The pixel density is about 403 PPI with a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The display is covered with 2.5D curved glass with rounded corners. On the other hand, Redmi Note 6 Pro has 6.26" 19:9 FHD+ display (2280x1080). The pixel density is about 403 PPI with a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The display is covered with 2.5D curved glass with rounded corners and Corning® Gorilla® Glass. Redmi Note 6 Pro is also the first Redmi Note series device to have Notch on the display. The Redmi Note 6 Pro has more screen to body ratio than Redmi Note 5 Pro while keeping the same form Factor.

Redmi Note 5 Pro was equipped with Snapdragon 636 Octa-core Processor and a 4000 mAh (typ)/ 3900 mAh (min) non-removable lithium-ion polymer battery. Both Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 6 Pro also feature a similar huge 4000mah(typ) Li-Polymer battery with 2 days battery life which supports Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 3.0 and also features Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor. Both devices feature a pretty similar battery and processor based on 14nm FinFET technology.
Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with MIUI 10 out of the box powered by Android Oreo. When Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched, it came with MIUI 9 powered by Android Nougat but right now Redmi Note 5 Pro is running on MIUI 10 powered by Android Oreo.
There are a lot of improvements and Upgrades in Redmi Note 6 Pro and it is still the most affordable device in the market in terms of Price to Performance ratio.
