Hello Mi Fans...
Welcome back to Custom ROM Class. For new readers and to the ones who don't know how this session is, custom ROM series is a review series done by device team on each custom ROM in a specific device. We usually try the ROM for about a month and post our experience as the review.
So without any further ado, Lets gets straight to it...

ROM Review :
The ROM is pretty much similar to the pixel experience ROM, but with a huge amount of customisation. One of the best thing in this ROM is that, once you have flashed the ROM, you will get updates via OTA.
Home screen :
The home screen has a very close resemblance to stock android and pixel experience ROM with rounded icons, Google search bar at the bottom and the Navigation gesture button at the bottom.
The notification bar is also like stock android but the level of customisation is different. In havoc, accent colour could be changed from the havoc settings.
The swipe up option in the home screen opens up the app tray which is in the white background by default. There is a separate tray at the top for the most recently used app which eases up the usage if we have lots of apps installed. I8
The settings menu is also pure Stock Android-like and contains options which are usual to the devices including different device settings. It also contains options for accessibility settings as well as for digital well being.
The build is running on the Android Pie version with all its features and many more.
The storage option and manager is also found in the settings. You can view the storage usage and what's left by opening this. The system usually uses around 7GB of memory and will be around 22GB available for the users.
Digital well being:
This is a new feature in the Pie update which uses the AI technology to measure the user's behaviour. It senses our usage and we can know more about smartphone usage and its kind by referring to this.
As we have the App vault in our MIUI, there is a google tray which displays the latest news feeds subscribed. Just swipe to right and the google tray will appear along with a regular google search bar.
Havoc Settings :
This is the best part of this ROM. This settings menu from the main settings gives 1000s of customisation to your device. From notification bar to navigation bar there is a whole lot of customisation which stock Android ROMs, as well as Pixel Experience ROMs, doesn't have.
The ROM has inbuilt Gcam with Camera2api enabled. The inbuilt camera has back cam as well as front camera portrait mode but doesn't have a night mode. But since it has Camera2api enabled, Gcams with night mode compatible with the device can be installed.
