Hey Mi Fans,
Indeed, the recent Smarter Living launch by Xiaomi was one hell of an event where the company amazed fans by revealing a new line of Mi TVs alongside the most-awaited Mi Smart Band 4, and other IoT products. In fact, this was one of the biggest launches of the year when Xiaomi introduced 4 new Mi TVs. Isn’t it interesting?
Speaking of this Xiaomi just doesn’t believe in launching new TVs, and focusses on its PatchWall philosophy of being Content First. And this time again they proved it. Wondering how? Stick with us and we will reveal more.
PatchWall already has a lot of content partners, including Sun NXT, Eros Now, Voot, and Jio Cinema streaming content in Dolby Audio.
During the Smarter Living 2020 launch, Sudeep Sahu, Product Manager said, Mi TV users stream 40M hours of content monthly. Mi TV has 11 content partners streaming on 16 different languages. Isn’t it outstanding?
Check out the long list of content partners available on Mi TV. It seems this is one of the aspects that made Xiaomi the No. 1 Smart TV Brand story. Click to read more on this: Xiaomi, India's #1 Smart TV Brand: IDC
That’s not all. In fact, I believe Xiaomi heard the voice of its fans and brought special addition. Yes, you heard it right. Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are now available natively out-of-the-box on Mi TV.
To sum up, now you can binge-watch your favorite TV series, Films, and more straight from Mi TVs. What more? I am pretty sure Mi TV Pro series users will be thinking, what about them? Much to our surprise, Xiaomi, later on, 19th September announced that Mi TV Pro series will also receive Netflix India, Prime Video IN, and Android TV 9.0 update, starting Q4 of 2019.
Well, that is all for now. Its time to wrap up so that we can have more amazing reads here at Mi Community.
