The Redmi 8A features a 12MP AI Rear camera with a Sony IMX363 sensor which gives a flagship-level performance. The Sony IMX363 sensor delivers crystal clear pictures each time and the 1.4μm large pixel offers great low light performance which is 25% larger than the predecessor Redmi 7A. Comparison with Competitors
As you can see that the Redmi 8A is able to capture more colors compared to the Realme C2 and Samsung M10. See the colorful labels on each urn, the color of which is accurately retained by the 8A while the Realme C2 overcompensates for the light falling on the urns and blows out the golden color and the Samsung M10 is totally washed out.
As you can see here, Redmi 8A once again able to capture more colors compared to the Realme C2 and the Samsung M10. The vibrant red color is accentuated by the overhead light, something which the camera of the Redmi 8A is able to capture incredibly well.
In this picture, you can clearly see the red color of the walls and the blue color of the bus, standing out in the picture shot by the Redmi 8A. Look at the sky in this picture and then compare it to the ones in the rest. One can say that the color completes the picture while accentuating the blue color of the bus in the foreground.
The brilliant Sony IMX363 image sensor coupled with post-processing ensures all the images delivered with minimal to no noise. In comparison, the Realme C2 has pronounced noise throughout the image, while the image shot on the Samsung M10 is flat and colorless.
Even with a single rear camera, you can see how Redmi 8A is able to capture perfect portraits by leveraging Xiaomi’s AI semantic segmentation. See the bokeh behind the model and the natural skin tone which is the highlight of any good camera. Comparatively, the Realme C2 and Samsung M10 fall far behind.
