Built-in chromecast became dead / buggy / not working in Mi TVs (e.g. 4A PRO) after Android 9 Pie (e.g. PI.3729 PI.3973) update

On Xiaomi Redmi devices like Note 5 Pro, 3S Prime, 5A, 6A many times chromecast (miracast / wireless display)
- does not connect even after so many attempts
- looses connectivity abruptly without any reason

Can you try factorey reset first and see if it helps.

And do you mean you cannot find the TV and establish the connection.

But the connection will drop frequently?

Factory reset done. Does not help.

There are multiple issues like:
- Can not find TV to connect
- TV found but, when tried to connect it shows only "connecting" status
- TV connected, but loses connectivity suddenly without any reason

There is a bug/problem in latest Android Pie uodate to MiTV 4A Pro.
Earlier the mobile casting was working fine, but after the update the tv screen is stuck on the first screen of mobile only. Means although the mobile is working and casting fine but the TV is stuck.

Do you even use the search box in this app? Just type "Chromecast" and you would know how many MI TV users are facing this issue after updating to pie. I am regretting after updating my MI TV 4A Pro to Pie. I should've check the internet about the issues before updating blindly. You just ask whoever you have to and tell us how to get back to Oreo (Android 8) from Pie (Android 9)?
