Somehow it's true that with large megapixel we get high dynamic range and more details... even those pictures are print perfect even if you want them printed. But the reality is large MP doesn't mean everything. It is the sensor and size of lense which defines a perfect camera. I'll give you a practical example of myself... recently I bought redmi note 8pro which have 64mp camera with samsung sensor. however I do have sony mirrorless a7iii too which have 24mp only with sony sensor. but when it comes to results the redmi 64mp can't beat 24mp sony... even though redmi have a great camera from smartphone perspective. So as per my opinion the smartphone companies shouldn't be chasing each other in this blind race of megapixels. And should focus on the sensor size and lense providing in the smartphones.
Better Saturation, and ability to capture full spectrum of colors with magnification helps users to go further in best photography. Xiaomi as a brand has been pushing forward best technology and affordable mobile for medium to high end users
In my opinion, MP doesn't mind much, post processing of image matters the quality of picture.
Nobody has need to zoom that much so we don't want 64MP, 108MP and all that.
So Instead of making hype of high MP camera, company should think seriously about their post-processing of image.
