First ever Mi Home in India is here! Mi Home is an 'Internet+' and 'new retail' approach — combining the Internet efficiency of e-commerce with the service and user experience of offline retail. Mi fans can experience and purchase the latest Xiaomi products under one roof. The first Mi home is located at Phoenix Market City Mall in Bengaluru and features Xiaomi’s range of smartphones, power banks, headphones, fitness bands, air purifiers as well as other ecosystem products launched in India. It will open be open for all on May 20, 2017.

Google to begin Android O Beta program soon, Nougat Beta ends !
Google has confirmed that the Beta programme for Android O will begin soon. The company has released an update on its Android Beta page, citing the end of the Android Nougat Beta programme. All devices that had opted to be in the Android Nougat Beta programme have been updated to the latest public version, Android 7.1.2. This means that no further builds will be pushed to Pixel and Nexus devices in the coming days, but the coming Beta version of Android O will hit registered devices soon.

Xiaomi on #2 in Global Wearable Shipments During Q1 : Strategy Analytics !!

According to the latest research from our WDE (Wearables) service, global wearables shipments reached 22 million units in the first quarter of 2017. Apple captured 16 percent marketshare and became the world’s largest wearables vendor followed by Xiaomi in the second. Global wearables shipments reached 22.0 million units in Q1 2017, rising 21 percent annually from 18.2 million in Q1 2016. Stronger demand for new smartwatch models in North America, Western Europe and Asia drove the uptick.
