Introduction to Lite Mode
Hi Mi Fans!
Have you ever felt MIUI is not user friendly? or you find the Android or MIUI system to be too complicated You want a simple interface. Some may only use the phone to make calls, SMS, take photos and use other apps occasionally, or rarely. If you don't need to multi-task, and you use the phone for very basic functions and use a few applications that uses data like Whatsapp, but other than that, you use the phone mainly for communication purpose. And if you want dial tones and read-back functionality.

Lite Mode Settings
It is also simple options and different from usual miui system settings. Only 5 tabs in the front menu settings. They are shown below.
Choose ‘General Settings’ for Customizing Home screen.
Tap on ‘Home Screen Mode’ and choose your option for your accessibility.
The Home screen mode shows three types of categories as shown below. you can choose any one of the option which are suitable for you.
Limitation of Lite Mode
There is no Sweeper module in Lite Mode, so only one application can be opened at any one time. This should not be a big problem since people who use Lite Mode usually do not need to multi-task. By default, Lite Mode on Mi phones has extremely big fonts, so there are no options to change font size here.
