Hello fellow Mi Users,|
A lot of users have faced the issue of the Mi Apps application updating other applications. This is happening even though the Auto-Update option in the Google PlayStore is disabled. Mi Apps comes pre-installed on your device and is redundant, considering PlayStore already does the job, and there is no way to uninstall or disable it without rooting the device.
Please read on to find out how to disable the Auto-Update feature in the Mi-Apps application.
The Auto-Update feature can be disabled in the Tools section of the Mi Apps menu. A lot of users, including myself, found that the Tools option is not readily found in the Mi Apps application, even after updating the app to the latest version.
