Hi Mi Fans,
As we all know Xiaomi has launched Redmi Note 5 in India which is an upgrade of last year's No 1 Selling Smartphone Redmi Note 4. Redmi Note 4 was a popular device in mid-range with an amazing rear camera. Here I am going to talk more about the camera performance of our new all-rounder aka Redmi Note 5.
Now let's start,
Low light performance of the Redmi Note 4 was not up to mark and last year we all given lot of feedbacks and developers were working hard to improve the quality and improvement of the camera especially in low lights, for that we introduced the camera with larger pixels. In Redmi Note 5, we have a camera sensor with 1.25µ pixels. We first observed the sensor in Mi Max 2 and also in the primary sensor of Mi A1.
Because of these pixels, the photo will look more sharp and brighter especially in low lights. Now let's compare the sensors used in Redmi Note 4 and Redmi Note 5.
Comparing to Redmi Note 4, we have about 25% more pixel area here in Redmi Note 5.
1-micron pixel in Redmi Note 5 is 55% larger than the pixel area in 1-micron pixel area which we have seen in Redmi Note 4, which will improve camera performance, especially in low lights. Now let's check some of the sample photographs taken from Redmi Note 5.
This image looks more clear mainly the dynamic range of this image. Different parts of this build have different lighting which is clearly visible. We can clearly see the shadows, I am sure any camera at this price range will struggle in capturing more details like this.
This photo is one of my personal favorites, details are clear and color levels too. This shows how powerful is the camera which we had in the Redmi Note 5. Note: This photo is captured under low light conditions.
This picture shows us the dynamic level of the camera, each and every color shown in this picture is more clear and sharp.
Now, let's move on to the front camera of Redmi Note 5.
In its predecessor, Redmi Note 4, we have seen a 5-megapixel shooter and here in Redmi Note 5, the company has used a 5-megapixel shooter but with an LED Flash. We have seen the LED flash for the first time in Redmi Y1 and its front camera performance was amazing.
LED flash used in Redmi Note 5 is 4500k, gives more natural looks even in low light. Beautify 4.0 in Redmi Note 5 will help us to take gorgeous selfies with smart facial enhancement feature.
