I hope you all having an awesome time here on community. Google yesterday released the much awaited Android P preview for the Google Pixel devices. So, lets dig in and see What can we expect from Andoid P and new changes it brings with it.

Wi-Fi Round Trip Time (RTT)
Android P adds platform support for the IEEE 802.11mc Wi-Fi protocol—also known as Wi-Fi Round-Trip-Time (RTT)—to let you take advantage of indoor positioning in your apps. This lets apps measure the distance between your device and the closest Wi-Fi access points to determine your indoor location. The protocol uses Android’s current location system to preserve privacy and does not actually connect to Wi-Fi access points
HEIF and HDR VP9 support.
Android P adds built-in support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) VP9 Profile 2, which lets developers build playback support for HDR in their app. It also has support for High Efficiency Image File Format (HEIF), a relatively new format that packs twice as much image data as a JPEG image while maintaining a similar file size.
No Orange Colour When You turn on Battery Saver
Android P finally gets rid of the hideous orange colour that used to apper on top and bottom of the screen when the battery saver was turned on. In place of the orange bars now Android P has a persistant Notification in the Notification Drawer which is a welcome Change.
Android P Easter Egg
Since Google has still not announced the Name for Android P, the first developer built does contain an Easter Egg but it is just the letter P which changes colour when you tap it. You can also pinch to zoom to make the P look bigger or smaller. Looks like we have to wait for sometime to know the real name of Android P. What do you guys think its going to be let us know in the comments.
